Martijn Vermeulen studeerde werktuigbouwkunde in Delft, en is sinds 2000 aan EP&C verbonden als octrooigemachtigde. Daarvoor was hij werkzaam op de projectafdeling van een ingenieursbureau in de (petro)chemie.

Martijn is analytisch, meedenkend, nauwkeurig en doelgericht. “Wij moeten zorgen voor optimale bescherming van industrieel eigendom. Onze cliënten moeten hun gelijk kunnen halen. Dat vereist een grondige analyse, een perfecte formulering, maar ook een scherpe blik in de toekomst. Voordat een idee vorm krijgt, bedenk ik daarom al hoe we er het maximale uit kunnen halen. Dat werkt motiverend en inspirerend.”

Martijn Vermeulen studied mechanical engineering in Delft, the Netherlands, and has been a patent attorney with EP&C since 2000. Previously he worked in the projects department of an engineering firm in the (petro)chemical industry.

Martijn is analytical, precise, focused and a team player. “We have to ensure optimum protection of industrial property, and our clients should be able to justify themselves in this. This requires a thorough analysis and perfect phrasing, but also a sharp view of the future. Before an idea even takes shape I am thinking how to get the most out of it.
