Jordi Kox studeerde werktuigbouwkunde in Enschede, en is sinds 2006 aan EP&C verbonden als octrooigemachtigde. Daarvoor werkte hij als octrooigemachtigde in Den Haag. Ook heeft hij gewerkt bij het Ministerie van Economische Zaken als adviseur over subsidie voor internationale technologische samenwerkingsprojecten tussen bedrijven en kennisinstellingen.

Career:

Jordi Kox studied mechanical engineering in Enschede, the Netherlands, and has been a patent attorney with EP&C since 2006. Previously he worked as a patent attorney in The Hague, as well a subsidy adviser for international technological cooperation projects between companies and knowledge institutes at the Dutch Ministry of Finance.

Jordi is professional, accessible, and flexible and enjoys a pointed debate. “While drawing up a patent application you have to anticipate potential conflicts that may arise in the future. And during a trial you have to have such a strong understanding of the subject matter that you can wipe the floor with the other party’s arguments in a split second.”
